This chapter was described as a double-length chapter, so I'm sporking it in two parts. The chapters have got longer as the fic has gone on: at 98 KB, this one is almost as long as the 116 KB final chapter of the first fic. The sequel follows on directly from the non-ending of the first fic, and doesn't even have the Hogwarts Exposed excuse of starting a new school year. If I didn't know better, I'd think the author was trying to make herself look more prolific than she actually is.

The latest instalment has a rather rushed feel to it, which as one of the reviewers pointed out does actually add to the sense of urgency. If this was indeed intentional then it works to enough of an extent that I'd give credit where it's due, but as we'll see that comes at the expense of continuity.
